I ordered this skin kit/decal (Fascinating Surprise) for my new Kindle Paperwhite merely because I didn't want fingerprints all over my Kindle shell (OK so maybe I'm a little OCD!!!). Unfortunately, the one that I had picked out previously was now back ordered. I looked thru all of the available ones and decided to get this one with purple and turquoise on black. I was apprehensive about putting it on since there was much written about how hard people were finding the "unbearable task" of putting it on straight, the glue not sticking properly and the very funny one that thought it would be more protective (like it should be heavy duty plastic or some such nonsense). Let me tell you that if you would read the description, nowhere does it indicate that this is anything more than a decorative piece. I mean what part of skin kit/decal is not understandable??? I for one had no trouble carefully placing the skin in the appropriate place the first time and when I decided it looked a little off center (again with the OCD), pulled part of it off to recenter it and never lost any of its adhesive quality. My kindle has gotten many comments about how attractive the decal is, so much so that I didn't put my new cover on for quite a while. I would buy another one of these decals in a NY minute, they are so attractive and easy to apply.
