I wanted a case for my kindle that was form AND function, and this one fits the bill. The glitter is IN the material, so no worries about it dusting you. I didn't realize it had the magnet to auto-open my kindle, so that was a fun surprise. The spine is a little stuff, and that is the only part I worry about maybe breaking down and cracking over time, but overall, I love the case and would absolutely recommend it.I have this brand cover on all 3 of my kindles. Easy to put on and charge. Easily folds back for one hand hold. Love the different colors.I just received this today but I have to say i'm happy with the case. It is very sturdy- the corners holding the kindle are hard cardboard-ish and be forewarned, there are no plastic corners to this case. So, if the kindle does on its corner, it could be a problem. However, there is a lip that extends a bit out on the cover and back of the case so I think if it does drop, it will likely be protected. It does wake when I open the cover. It feels very smooth - I'm not sure it's leather but it is a nicely made case, although i feel like the corners are likely to warp with use as they feel like hard cardboard. I do love the little pocket on the front, which I think will fit a credit card /id if needed, If you have a stand to hold your kindle, note that with the cover flipped to the back, it likely won't fit as it will be too thick. So i have to keep the case open to use my stand. Generally, I'm happy with the stand.I wasn't sure when I ordered it. I knew I wanted something pink (to match other things - ish) and I wanted some bling to make it easy to find next to my bed in low light. I've had lots of Galaxy Tab cases and none is anywhere near this quality. Yes, it is a tiny bit on the heavy side, but I'm ok with that. I may not travel with it (may be a lighter one for weight to travel internationally), but for most of my short commute purposes, this is perfect. One thing I really like is that the cover stays open evenly. Not flimsy and moveable like most others. And the sleep magnet works perfectly (they don't all). I debated between this and the brown "leather" one. I think I would have really liked either. But I'm really pleased with my pink blingy one. Quality construction. Looks a lot more expensive than it was.Looks nice, wife likes it, best I could ask forJust what I was looking for! I like this case very much it is thicker & padded than others, plus it is QUIET & protective if dropped. I have hard floors and other cases made a big bang if I dropped it! It is perfect- wakes up the Kindle when you open the cover, puts it to sleep when you close it. It is designed to securely hold the Kindle so there is no chance it will slip out and fall to the floor. It also has a neat little slip pocket on the front cover so if you take it to an appointment, you can slide a business card or appointment card into the pocket.Good for my kindle to keep it protected and it is a cool design.
