I've always gotten Fintie cases for my Kindles and overall have been extremely happy with their product, until this case. While it is lightweight and the sleep/wake mode worked as stated, I just couldn't get past the clear back case - it was a fingerprint magnet which took away from the overall look, and the back felt a bit... slippery/uncomfortable to hold when the unit was closed.The hinge part (to me) felt bigger than it needed to be and this translated into a situation where when the cover was folded back it didn't line up well behind the case and slipped lower making the whole thing uncomfortable to hold.Those issues were why I sent it back to Amazon and replaced it with a different style Fintie case which corrected all the issues I had and I'll be writing a positive review for that one.Overall this case does the job. My Kindle felt safe in it and the quality what I've come to expect from Fintie. I think people a Kindle that isn't black might like the clear back so they can see the cover, but given mine is black I don't mind it being covered up.Just as pictured. I love it. My only con is when it’s open and you’re reading the cover flaps back and forth. i wish it’d sit secure. i’d also love to have a pop socket on to hold it by the plastic back but then the cover would flap. so depends on your preference. i will probably keep it on long term just cuz i like knowing it protects my screen when not in useThank youThis product is perfect for using a kindle. Light sleep mode & good lookingI have not yet received the paper white for this cover. I did not pay enough attention when ordering to realize the front cover is not same as back. That was my fault. I was concerned with the part that connected front and back. Seemed very short and flimsy, not at all like the Fintie that I have for my current paper white. Therefore I returned it.This case is too smooth and slick that makes it more difficult to hold. It also shows smudges and fingerprints easily.This item has a strange clear backing. It is supposedly so you can see the color of your device... as far as I know all kindles are black.... any way it is a fingerprint magnet and doesn't look very appealing. When you open cover to read it feels bulky because it stays slightly open. This may get better with time if you want to put up with the fingerprints...The cover is nice but doesn't have a back.
