I bought one of these for our 8 yr. old Greatgrandaughter, who has had trouble sleeping. She was at our house when it arrived and used it the first night. She fell asleep literally within 4 minutes after going to bed! My husband tried it out while in his recliner and fell in love with it, so I ordered one for him also. He has Renal Dialysis three times a week, and as is common, he can't get warm during the procedure. He now takes his new weighted blanket and experiences total comfort! And I am comforted too, knowing that two of my most beloved people are doing better with this gift. Additionally, this was the best price I found on the internet, so THANK YOU!My son has been struggling to stay asleep and tosses and turns a lot. He is 18 months old and I had been asking people what could help and someone suggested a weighted blanket. I got one and I was amazed how much it helped him actually sleep and get rest! I love this blanket and if your kid struggles to stay asleep through the night I definitely recommend getting them a weighted blanket!It was as advertised. I would buy again.Wasn’t sure about purchasing, so many choices. Never having one before, I chose this to see if it was helpful to me for sleep quality. I have to say that so far after only 2 nights, I have slept very well. Better actually. I’m thinking it’s not a placebo effect but rather a true comfort. It may not suit everyone, but I’m glad I bought it. It feels sorta like when they put a shield over you for X-rays. If you find that pleasant, you will like the blanket. It’s hard to explain. If you don’t like that feeling then obviously you won’t like the blanket lol. Anyway I’m very pleased I slept better than I have in quite some time.I definitely will be buying a duvet next because it’s not machine washable (mine was only $30) and I’m not going to ever hand wash a 10 pound blanket hahah I will throw it away before I attempt that. Can’t imagine a wet 10 pound blanket being hand washed ??✅After buying a heavier and more mink/fleece like weighted blanket for the mister, I decided to give this a try. I was apprehensive about the weight and looked for a 7 lb cooling weighted blanket, but most were for kids and I'm well beyond the princess, fluffy, pink, cartoon or barbie stage. Also, trying to find a lighter weight for an adult size blanket was frustrating (thank you Amazon search for showing me 80% of what I didn't specify). I settled on giving this a try after paging through suggestions that popped up on another item. So far it's comfortable, the fabric is soft and not cheap. Well made and solidly stitched. Not exactly cooling but doesn't make me overheat. The 4 instead of 5 stars is only because of the weight options being 10 lbs or above for an adult size.My son falls in love with this heavy weighted blanket so definitely recommend to get it if you have very active child. It is really calming down my hyperactive kiddo’sThis was a game changer for my child. He's always struggled sleeping. He asked for a weighted blanket after reading about them in a school assignment. He is sleeping great now. He loves the purple and black combination.This says it's for a King size bed, but that could only be if you're expecting a partial blanket maybe for one person. To say I'm disappointed in the size would be putting it lightly (that's what she said). The quality seems decent albeit it just came out of the box, but it barely has 2 inches off each side of my king bed. It's not big enough at all. The colors are beautiful though.Fun Fact: My cat weighs more than this blanket. He's a 19-20 lb chonker.Great and really cute. it has strings everywhere to tie the blankets so it stays in places. very comfortable texture and nice fabric.
